Hollywood "Soy Pro Beauty" Launches Nagano-grown Hozuki (Ground Cherry) Flavor, Inspired by Founder's Wife Mei Ushiyama's Beloved "Fruit of Beauty"

Hollywood Co., Ltd., headquartered in Roppongi, Tokyo, will release a new "Soy Pro Beauty Hozuki" flavor on May 22, 2026. This seasonal and limited-quantity product will be available at BEAUTY CELLAR direct stores and BEAUTY CELLAR ONLINE. The new flavor is inspired by Mei Ushiyama, the founder's wife and beauty expert, who cherished hozuki for its beauty and health benefits. The protein is 100% plant-based, vegan-friendly, and free from white sugar. It utilizes domestically grown hozuki, specifically the premium "Taiyo no Ko" variety, cultivated pesticide-free at Badias Farm in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, at an altitude of 1,100m. This hozuki boasts a high sugar content of 12-15 degrees. The product also incorporates upcycled hozuki fruits that are cosmetically imperfect but retain full quality, aligning with Hollywood's environmental considerations. Each 20g serving contains 75.2kcal, 8.7g protein, 0.7g fat, 8.6g carbohydrates, and 0.25g salt equivalent. The "Soy Pro Beauty" brand, established in 2020, expanded in January 2026 with "Soy Pro Beauty Plus," featuring 12g of plant protein, 7 superfoods (including Okinawa-grown moringa), and a 6-free formulation (no artificial colors, flavors, white sugar, gluten, milk, or preservatives). Current flavors include KINAKO, CHAI, and SAKE. "Soy Pro Beauty Every" with 16.8g protein is also available.
