TOPPAN Group’s Siam Toppan Wins WPO ‘WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026’

Siam Toppan Packaging Co., Ltd. (Siam Toppan), a Thai subsidiary of TOPPAN Holdings Inc., has received the 'WorldStar Packaging Award' in the Toys category at the 'WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026,' organized by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).

This marks the seventh time Siam Toppan has won this award. This year's ceremony was held on May 8, 2026 (Friday), during 'interpack 2026,' the international packaging industry exhibition held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The TOPPAN Group aims to realize a sustainable future society under the group purpose: 'Breathing life into culture, with technology and heart.'

■ Overview and Features of the Award-Winning Product
The award-winning product, 'From Box to theatre: A Sustainable Thai Craft Chocolate Gift Set Full of Play,' was developed for 'One More Thai Craft Chocolates,' a craft chocolate brand based in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand.

- Preserving Tradition and Playfulness: Inspired by the traditional Southern Thai shadow puppetry, 'Nang Talung,' the design allows the outer box to be repurposed as a mini theatre stage after the contents are enjoyed.

- Reducing Environmental Impact and Improving Logistics: The design eliminates plastic windows, utilizing a paper-only, recyclable structure. It features a space-efficient square shape for optimized transport.

- Ideal Gift for Storytelling: The packaging features a narrative design depicting traditional production methods, making it highly suitable as an educational and thoughtful gift.
