TOPPAN Inc., a group company of TOPPAN Holdings (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Haruhiko Noguchi; hereafter TOPPAN), will exhibit at the "Digital Trade Conference ~Global Trends and Japan's Future~" to be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Co-hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce Japan (ICC Japan) and the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), this event aims to promote "digital trade"—enabling smooth cross-border transactions through the digitization of trade operations. The conference will bring together discussions on international standardization and technological innovations.

TOPPAN will exhibit various services aimed at promoting the digitization of trade and will also take the stage at a seminar themed around "Trade Digitization" held during the conference. In this seminar, which features domestic and international policy authorities and business operators, TOPPAN will present on the role of digital certificates in contributing to trade digitization and specific methods for their utilization.

- Global Corporate Digital Certificate vLEI Issuance Service "vLEI-Gateway™"
This is a cloud service that issues and manages vLEI, a digitized version of the international standard corporate identifier, LEI. By utilizing this service, organizations and individuals with legitimate authority can apply digital signatures to trade documents. This makes it possible to reliably verify the authenticity of documents, even in cross-border transactions or across different platforms.
At this event, TOPPAN will showcase examples of utilizing vLEI to improve the reliability of trade documents exchanged via email, as well as use cases for vLEI in remittance transactions on a blockchain.

- System to Support Decarbonization Across the Entire Supply Chain "Minna no Carbon Offset®︎"
"Minna no Carbon Offset®︎" is a mechanism that allows members of society—including companies, NPOs/NGOs, municipalities, and governments—to recognize their own greenhouse gas emissions and make proactive efforts to reduce them. For emissions that are difficult to reduce, the system allows them to purchase carbon offset credits representing emission reductions or absorptions achieved elsewhere to compensate. Utilizing this system enables a reliable and rapid response across the entire supply chain to the strict decarbonization requirements demanded in global trade transactions.

- Trade Procedure Efficiency Platform
This platform introduces the "LLM OCR for Trade" function, which uses generative AI-powered Large Language Model (LLM) technology and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract highly accurate data from paper and PDF trade-related forms, realizing smooth integration with various systems. By utilizing this, it contributes to reducing the workload of trade-related operators such as shippers, forwarders, and customs brokers.
Furthermore, this service has been integrated with "Cyber Port," a data platform operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. As a result, port-related procedures and facility information managed by the MLIT Ports and Harbours Bureau are automatically entered into the appropriate fields in the correct format.
