Panasonic Electric Works Wins Special Award at ORGATEC TOKYO 2026 for Its Exhibition Booth

Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Panasonic EW') made its first appearance at ORGATEC TOKYO 2026, the international office furniture exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 2 to 4, 2026, and won the Special Award at the ORGATEC TOKYO Awards.

The award honors exhibition booths that exemplify the event's theme, 'SHIFT DESIGN,' with outstanding design quality. Despite being Panasonic EW's first participation, it achieved its first award win.

The exhibition was themed 'Well-Being Lighting(TM) for workplace,' proposing comfortable, sensory-responsive environments centered on lighting.

Amid increasingly diverse workstyles, the company redefined the purpose of gathering in offices from a well-being perspective, showcasing environments where employees can perform at their best and work with vitality. Through an experiential booth demonstrating how dynamic lighting techniques and advanced control technologies affect human behavior and psychology, Panasonic EW introduced 'Well-Being Lighting,' a concept that optimizes lighting conditions according to time of day, work style, and individual well-being to support mental and physical rhythms, as well as transitions between focus and relaxation.

Panasonic EW will continue to propose next-generation office environments that balance employee well-being and sustainable corporate growth by realizing new roles for light beyond mere brightness and energy efficiency.

Our challenge this time was not the design of physical objects like furniture or space, but the design of the experience itself created by light.

Light, though visible, is a delicate element that profoundly influences human emotions, behaviors, and communication. The greatest challenge was how to translate this value into an experiential space and enable visitors to truly feel it.
