Panasonic Corporation (hereinafter, Panasonic) will support and sponsor the intensive program 'CROSS TIDE' held at Rohm Theatre Kyoto South Hall on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the first day of IVS2026, one of Japan's largest startup conferences.

In July 2022, Panasonic established a CVC fund (commonly known as the Panasonic Kurashi Visionary Fund (*)) and has been investing in promising domestic and international startups with strengths in business areas related to daily life. Through its support and sponsorship of this program, Panasonic will participate in an ecosystem where business companies, CVCs, and startups interact and collaborate, further accelerating open innovation with startups, and pursuing the potential for new business creation through collaboration with diverse companies and startups.

'CROSS TIDE' is a program within IVS2026 that delves into the 'ideal relationship between startups and CVCs/large corporations' for the development of new businesses and the creation of new industries within business companies. Discussions will cover both capital and business aspects, from the utilization of in-house assets through M&A, spin-outs, and carve-outs, to the strategic use of large corporations and CVCs from the startup's perspective.

This program consists of three session programs and a networking party to be held at Rohm Theatre Kyoto South Hall on DAY1, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and is accessible with an IVS2026 participation pass. It will be organized with Headline Japan Co., Ltd. at its core, and will involve multiple communities, including 'CVC vs CVC,' which is attracting attention as a large corporate CVC network, as well as business companies and CVCs.

*CVC (Corporate Venture Capital) fund 'PC-SBI Investment Business Limited Liability Partnership' jointly operated with SBI Investment Co., Ltd.
