Panasonic Publishes 'Future Fantasy Newspaper 2043 Kadoma City Edition' on Children's Day - Envisioning the Future with the Community

Panasonic Holdings Corporation, together with The Asahi Shimbun Company (hereafter Asahi Shimbun), established the 'Future Fantasy Newspaper 2043 Production Committee' and published the 'Future Fantasy Newspaper 2043 Kadoma City Edition' on May 5, 2026 (Tuesday, holiday), under the message 'Children's Day is a day to think about the future,' to collectively fantasize about a better future.

In 2026, the fifth year of the Future Fantasy Newspaper's publication, it was developed as a community co-creation initiative in which Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture, local companies, and citizens were all involved in the production. Starting from 'future headlines' submitted by junior high school students and the general public in Kadoma City, fantasy articles and article images were created and published as a newspaper. The completed newspaper will be displayed and distributed at elementary schools, junior high schools, and compulsory education schools in Kadoma City, as well as at various facilities in Kadoma City centered around the Kadoma City Cultural Creation Library KADOMADO.

The Future Fantasy Newspaper 2043 Production Committee is a co-creation project between the Panasonic Group, which aims to realize an 'ideal society where both material and spiritual aspects are rich,' and the Asahi Shimbun, whose slogan is 'When we connect, we can see.'
