Panasonic Partners with NEP Group to Advance IP-Based Live Production using KAIROS and NEP Platform

Panasonic Corporation and NEP Group have entered into a partnership to deploy new solutions combining the KAIROS IT/IP platform with the NEP Platform software-defined control system. This collaboration enables the seamless integration of traditional and IP-based equipment, allowing for a flexible production environment without vendor lock-in. Supporting standards like SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS, the system promotes software-centric workflows that reduce hardware reliance, power consumption, and environmental impact. A demonstration of this integrated system will take place at NAB Show 2026 (Booth C3509) in Las Vegas from April 19 to 22, 2026.
