Hokuto City's Coming-of-Age Ceremony for Reiwa 9 to be Held on January 10, 2027

Hokuto City and the Hokuto City Board of Education in Yamanashi Prefecture will hold the Hokuto City Coming-of-Age Ceremony for Reiwa 9 (2027) on January 10, 2027 (Sun) at Yatsugatake Yamabiko Hall to celebrate and encourage young people reaching a milestone in their lives.

Eligibility: Individuals who meet either (1) and (2) below, or (3) below.

(1) Born between April 2, 2006 and April 1, 2007 (2) Junior high school graduates from Hokuto City in the 2021 academic year (3) Those with a resident registration in Hokuto City as of September 1, 2024

Regarding the Sending of Invitations

Invitations for eligible individuals are scheduled to be sent out at the end of October 2026. For those who have moved out of Hokuto City (not listed in the Hokuto City Basic Resident Register) and wish to attend, invitations will be sent to their new address by completing the "Change of Invitation Delivery Address Procedure" within the specified period.

Eligible for Procedure: Those who have moved out of Hokuto City and wish to attend the ceremony.

*No procedure is necessary for those who currently have their resident registration in Hokuto City and whose address has not changed.
