Hokka Hokka-tei's Sold-Out 'One-Hand BENTO' Returns to Expo Commemoration Park on Sunday, April 12! The Chain Will Exhibit at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 1st Anniversary Memorial Event

Hokka Hokka-tei Sohonbu Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Chairman & President: Tatsuya Aoki), a pioneer in the takeout bento business, will sell its "One-Hand BENTO™" — which sold out every single day during its appearance at the Osaka-Kansai Expo last year — at the food area (Wakuwaku Pond Adventure Plaza) of "EXPO2025 Futures Festival," to be held at Expo Commemoration Park (Suita City) on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Hokka Hokka-tei developed and launched the "One-Hand BENTO" specifically for its appearance at the Osaka-Kansai Expo , with the concept of "a futuristic bento you can eat easily with one hand." The one-handed style we proposed received tremendous feedback — visitors said it "was a lifesaver while rushing between exhibits" and that they could "enjoy authentic Japanese flavors with ease" — resulting in daily sellouts.

To mark the milestone of the first anniversary since opening, Hokka Hokka-tei will make a one-day triumphant return to Expo Commemoration Park — home of the Myaku-Myaku statue — in conjunction with "EXPO2025 Futures Festival," the 2025 Japan World Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo) 1st Anniversary Memorial Event, where visitors can look back on the Expo and envision the future together.
