The "Sugi Pharmacy Group Cup 18th Japan Boys Baseball Hochi Flag Tournament Kansai Sawayaka Tournament," organized by Hochi Shimbunsha (President: Takeshi Hasegawa), which publishes Sports Hochi, will begin its intense competition on May 9. All 127 teams participated in the opening ceremony held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 6th. This is one of the largest tournaments in the Kansai Block of the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Japan Boys Baseball League (Boys League), contested by junior high school first-year teams. The final match will be held on June 21 at HPL Baseball Park in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture.
