(Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kiyotaka Sudoh), a provider of comprehensive life support services, has opened the residential-type senior care home 'Ilise Niigata Central Active Living' (hereinafter 'the facility') in Chuo Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, on July 1, 2026.

This newly opened facility follows the same 'Active Living' concept as 'Ilise Asahikawa 9-jo-dori' (Asahikawa City, Hokkaido), 'Ilise Yatsushiro' (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture), and 'Ilise Sakado' (Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture), all opened in 2025. With the vision that all residents can live positively and joyfully in their own way, the facility provides caregiving services that enrich emotional well-being and enhance personalized quality of life (QOL).

Standard-equipped with 'VoiceTa!' for face-to-face communication with distant family members

All rooms are equipped with 'VoiceTa!' (※2), a conversational AI powered by smart home (Alexa) technology (※1). Residents can enjoy video calls with family anytime and also use it to communicate with facility staff. Staff will invite residents to brain training or oral exercises via 'VoiceTa!', and provide daily reminders, enabling active and enjoyable living even within private rooms. Simple voice operation is supported by attentive staff assistance.

Dedicated Activity Coordinator to plan diverse events

The facility's 'Activity Coordinator' proposes and organizes a wide range of recreational activities that provide pleasant mental and physical stimulation, including seasonal events, sports viewing (e.g., Albirex Niigata), music, hobbies, exercise, brain training, beauty sessions, and dog therapy. Additionally, the medication support system 'Fukuyakkyun' (※5) ensures safe medication management. By integrating advanced IT systems, the facility comprehensively supports residents' daily safety, health management, and prevention of medication errors.

Nursing floor established for residents with high medical dependency

Fifteen rooms on the first floor are designated as a specialized nursing floor for residents with high medical dependency or specific intractable diseases (e.g., terminal cancer, ALS, Parkinson’s-related conditions). In coordination with visiting nursing stations, medical care such as suctioning and insulin administration will also be available upon consultation for residents living outside this dedicated floor (※6).
