Official documentary photos of 'Ukiyo-e Immersive Art PARIS' (held from Thursday, March 19, 2026, to Sunday, August 23, 2026, at La Villette, Espace Chapiteaux (special tent), 211 Av. Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris), produced by Hitohata, Inc. (Representative Director: Takeaki Higashiyama), have been released.

*This exhibition is held as part of the exhibition project PASSION JAPON.

This event is an immersive digital art museum where you can dive into the world of ukiyo-e in multi-area stereoscopic video spaces. Based on more than 300 works by world-renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toshusai Sharaku, and Utagawa Kunisada, it uses 3DCG animation and projection mapping to create graphical digital artworks that can be enjoyed by everyone from adults to children.

So far, it has been held in Nagoya, Milan (Italy), Kagoshima, Tokyo, Taipei (Taiwan), Fukuoka, Kaohsiung (Taiwan), and Osaka, attracting over 500,000 visitors.

In addition, 'Ukiyo-e Immersive Art' received the Excellence Award in the project category of the 'CJPF Award 2025' sponsored by the Cool Japan Public-Private Partnership Platform (Secretariat: Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Secretariat, Cabinet Office).

Photography and video recording are allowed in all areas of the venue, allowing you to jump into the fantastical world of ukiyo-e and take pictures.
