H.I.S. Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as HIS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Singapore Airlines (SIA), and Mandai Wildlife Group (MWG) to create new leisure travel demand for Singapore.

In 2025, the number of Japanese travelers to Singapore reached 627,000, representing 110% compared to the previous year and a recovery to 71% of pre-pandemic levels. Singapore has been actively working on its tourism industry within Asia, focusing on enhancing experience value and emphasizing quality for sustainable growth.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Singapore, the four parties—HIS, STB, SIA, and MWG—signed this MOU to deepen mutual understanding and friendship through tourism exchange and to create new leisure travel demand. Moving forward, the four parties will integrate their resources to jointly create special travel products and services suitable for the 60th anniversary.

Coinciding with the signing, a video featuring Natsumi Uga, the 60th-anniversary promotion ambassador, enjoying an authentic Singapore experience with her travel companion Misato Shimizu, will be released.
