This is an unprecedented competition to determine the pinnacle of gardening in Japan, where gardeners and landscapers from across the country compete for a 10 million yen grand prize.

This concept was born from the loss of opportunities for gardeners to showcase their works and thoughts following the end of the "International Rose and Gardening Show" in 2018. "We want to recreate a stage where gardeners can challenge themselves in earnest." This project starts with that sentiment at its core.

Furthermore, our company will exhibit the garden work "Sanctuary" at the International Horticultural Exhibition "GREEN×EXPO 2027," to be held in Yokohama from March 19 to September 26, 2027. This work is a unique experiential garden that redefines a garden from something to be "viewed" into an "essential living space for humans" by having visitors participate in the cycle of life—planting, growing, and harvesting.

🌿 "N-1 Gardener Grand Prix" Vision

Japan's first gardener showdown with a 10 million yen grand prize, recruiting approximately 100 landscaping companies from nationwide under fair judging. The venue will be Iwade City, Wakayama, the origin of CEO Tamura. All plants will be sourced within Wakayama Prefecture, and the event will realize a regional economic circulation model by collaborating with tourist spots such as Koyasan, Kumano Hongu, and Nachi Falls, involving food, lodging, and tourism.

[About GREEN×EXPO 2027]

GREEN×EXPO 2027 is an A1-class international exhibition authorized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and recognized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE). About 60 countries and regions are expected to participate. The theme is "Scenery of the Future." It is an international event expecting approximately 15 million visitors, sharing new values of urban-nature symbiosis, food-agriculture circulation, and environmental regeneration with the world.

In today's digital age, the time humans spend interacting with nature is rapidly decreasing. "Sanctuary" is a garden to reclaim the essence of human "living" in such an era.
