HIOKI (HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION: Ueda, Nagano; President and CEO: Takahiro Okazawa) established a technical center within its sales office in Nagoya at the end of 2025 to accelerate the realization of innovative measurement solutions. With the installation of measurement equipment and the establishment of an operational structure now complete, the center will begin full-scale operations on April 1, 2026.
This center is equipped with evaluation facilities for automotive, battery materials, and other applications, aiming for further co-creation with customers and partner companies in the Tokai region.
Background In pursuit of our long-term management policy, "Vision 2030," we established the "Co-Creation Laboratory" within the HIOKI Innovation Center (Headquarters Technology Building) in April 2023. Equipped with facilities for conducting experiments, measurements, and evaluations alongside our customers, we have been developing elemental technologies and new products to solve emerging social issues through electrical measurement technology.
Furthermore, in 2024, we opened two technical centers covering Eastern and Western Japan, respectively. By equipping these facilities with evaluation tools tailored to fields such as automotive, batteries, and electronic devices, we have been able to provide faster and higher-quality solutions to challenges, closer to our customers than ever before.
By establishing this third domestic co-creation base in Nagoya, we will continue to discover and solve new challenges in the Tokai region while promoting the development of unique products.
