"Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort" to Open on April 1, 2026

(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President & Representative Executive Officer: Atsushi Nakajima), Kajima Corporation (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman & President: Itsuichi Oshimi), and Hilton (Virginia, USA, President & CEO: Christopher J. Nassetta) are pleased to announce the opening of "Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort," a lifestyle brand hotel by Hilton, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

"Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort" marks the first resort expansion of the "Canopy by Hilton" brand in the Asia-Pacific region, and will be the second hotel of this brand in Japan (※1) and the seventh Hilton hotel in Okinawa Prefecture (※2).

Additionally, Mitsubishi Estate and Kajima Corporation will simultaneously open the commercial facility "Yard miyakojima" adjacent to "Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort." This facility aims to be widely used by hotel guests, local residents, and tourists alike.

The Hilton lifestyle brand "Canopy by Hilton" operates approximately 50 hotels in 14 countries and regions worldwide. In Japan, "Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda," the brand's first entry, opened in 2024, and "Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka" is scheduled to open in 2028. Through experiences that maximize local charm, sophisticated design, and personalized dining and beverage options, we deliver high-end yet warm stays.

"Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort" is conveniently located in the Toribaru district of Miyakojima City, approximately a 15-minute drive from Miyako Airport and a 25-minute drive from Shimojishima Airport. It also offers easy access to Miyakojima's central shopping district and the Irabu Bridge. A complimentary shuttle bus service between the hotel and Miyako Airport will also be available for a comfortable journey to the hotel.

This 12-story hotel will offer a wide range of facilities and services, including 306 guest rooms in 11 types, the all-day dining restaurant "The Marsans Beach House," the dinner-only grill restaurant "CHIIKII," the rooftop bar "Sun Bear Day Club," and the outdoor picnic space "The Round" (scheduled to open in May). It will also feature the "Shima Sprouts Play Zone," a kids' club with play equipment and games for all ages, a dedicated relaxation floor "RETREAT" where guests can comfortably spend time before their departure after check-out, and a 24-hour fitness center.
