As part of its initiative to showcase the creations and attractions shaping the local scene, the hotel has been running a collaboration with the internationally acclaimed 'Seiichiro,NISHIZONO' since Monday, March 16, 2026, offering three types of butter sand. The newly introduced summer-limited flavor 'Strawberry x Passion Fruit' is a tropical-tasting treat exclusive to Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda. Designed with the theme 'Memorable Aroma' and based on Mr. Nishizono's unique research, the butter sand is approximately 3.5 cm thick, a size he determined as 'comfortable for people to open their mouths,' focusing on the balance of aroma and texture. This flavor will also be available as a frozen takeout item, served frozen for an ice-cream-like, refreshing melt-in-the-mouth experience, perfect for the hot season. In addition to this summer-limited flavor, the previously popular collaboration-exclusive original flavors 'Orange' and 'Coffee' will continue to be sold. After graduating from a pastry school, he studied confectionery in Japan and abroad, honing his skills at hotels and the renowned shop 'Mikage Takasugi'. He then gained practical experience in product development and store management, served as an instructor at a pastry school, and engaged in cross-genre projects such as collaborating with apparel brands on sweets. In 2014, he opened his own shop, 'Seiichiro,NISHIZONO'.
