This situation is not unique to specific families.
It applies to everyone who feels "I can't express it well, but it's difficult" in their daily lives.
The state of "wanting to convey, but not reaching" exists in all aspects of society.
However, these voices remain outside the framework of societal support and systems.
Especially for those who face difficulties in their daily lives but cannot articulate them, making it hard to access support, we aim to respond by visualizing their conditions and transforming them into a form that can be understood by those around them.
■ What is the KARATIA VOICE Concept?
The "KARATIA VOICE Concept" is a social design project to visualize and deliver emotions, states, and needs that cannot be conveyed solely through words or actions.
Our aim is to redesign the social system itself with the premise that "inability to convey" exists.
Furthermore, this concept is designed with data accumulation and analysis in mind to continuously capture changes and trends in conditions. In the future, we envision implementing mechanisms that can interpret changes in individual states and environments and suggest appropriate support timing and interaction methods, complementing areas that human senses alone cannot grasp.

■ Why Are We Doing This?
This concept stems from a deep personal need that our representative has long felt: "I wish this existed."
Through raising her daughter with a disability and observing the voices of individuals and families overflowing on social media, she strongly felt the necessity of solving the problem of "wanting to convey but not reaching."
"We" are the families of those affected. The representative and a creator who also raises a child with a disability are co-designing this concept, starting from the real-life sensations of daily life.
The intersection of "realities from the field" and "technology to deliver to society" is precisely why we believe we have a reason to undertake this.

Our company is currently proceeding in parallel with the launch of "KARATIA," a brand that utilizes art by people with disabilities in corporate products.
If KARATIA is a brand that "adds new value to products through the power of art," then KARATIA VOICE is a project that "delivers voices that cannot be put into words to society."
Both are connected by the single philosophy of delivering value to society that has not yet reached it.
