CBC Television and Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture Announce Partnership Agreement on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation

CBC Television (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Representative Director and President: Keizo Matsunami) and Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture (Mayor: Motojin Mitsuboshi) will conclude a "Partnership Agreement on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation" for cooperation during normal times and disasters. The signing ceremony will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Anjo City. As a news organization and designated local public institution, CBC Television has been committed to protecting the lives and property of local residents. This agreement aims to further raise disaster awareness among local residents by having Anjo City, CBC Television, and CBC Group companies cooperate in disseminating information and conducting awareness activities related to disaster prevention and mitigation, both in normal times and during disasters. The agreement with Anjo City was reached based on a shared philosophy between Anjo City, which aims to improve citizens' disaster awareness through study sessions and events during normal times, and CBC Television, which has continued disaster-related reporting and activities under its "Disaster Prevention Station Declaration." CBC Television will strive to expand similar agreements with municipalities in Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures, which are its broadcasting areas, to contribute to regional disaster prevention and mitigation activities.
