Hibiya Kadan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Hiroaki Miyajima) will collaborate with "Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa" (Location: 4-10-30 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo, inside Shinagawa Prince Hotel, Director: Megumi Akutsu) to produce spatial decorations in the jellyfish exhibition area "Jellyfish Rumble" from April 25 (Sat) to June 28 (Sun), 2026. Leveraging our expertise in handling a wide variety of floral scenes, we have designed a fantastical space resembling a kaleidoscope that changes its expression from moment to moment. We positioned the jellyfish swaying in the sea as the "protagonists" and the flowers of early summer as the "lenses". With refreshing colors of white, blue, and purple, life in the sea and on land resonate together. The flowers blend beautifully into the venue's cool lighting, delivering an unprecedented immersive and healing experience where you can enjoy living creatures from a new perspective. 1. Explanation of the Decorations in the Jellyfish Exhibition Area "Jellyfish Rumble" We will decorate the tanks exhibiting 7 to 8 species of jellyfish scattered across the vast area "Jellyfish Rumble," which spans approximately 9m in width and 35m in depth, with flowers of early summer. In this collaboration, 5 tanks were designed by multiplying the shape and ecology of jellyfish with the structure and color of flowers. Invitation to the Kaleidoscope Delicate mirror sheet decorations were applied to the boundary of the area inviting guests into the interior of the kaleidoscope. The line art drawn on the mirrors expresses the geometric beauty of a kaleidoscope. By capturing the jellyfish from multiple perspectives through the mirrors, the visual experience is expanded. You can also enjoy it as a photo spot to take fantastical pictures. [Blue Jellyfish x Nemophila] Blue Jellyfish x Nemophila Exuding a symbolic presence in the center of the area is the "Symbolic Tank" designed with blue and white flowers, mainly Nemophila. Inside the tank, swaying Blue Jellyfish (also known as Hitodama Kurage, as their bells and tentacles turn blue as they grow) are exhibited. Around the cylindrical tank, early summer flowers (artificial flowers) with an affinity for the ecology and characteristics of jellyfish are arranged. By reflecting these repeatedly on the mirror surfaces and ceiling, it creates an infinite immersive experience where the space of flowers continues endlessly. [Indonesian Sea Nettle x Orchid] Indonesian Sea Nettle x Orchid Both are equipped with special functions to reliably catch their target. The Indonesian Sea Nettle paralyzes its prey with highly venomous tentacles, and the Orchid manipulates its petals and scent to lure specific insects. It is a space where the powerful forms of life born from their unique survival strategies coexist. [Giyaman Jellyfish x Hydrangea] Giyaman Jellyfish x Hydrangea The colorless and transparent Giyaman Jellyfish, possessing cross-shaped gonads and named after the Dutch word for glass, combined with the Hydrangea, which has four sepals and sparkles like crystal wrapped in early summer rain. You can enjoy a design that multiplies these two elements combining symmetrical beauty. [Fried Egg Jellyfish x Delphinium] Fried Egg Jellyfish x Delphinium The Fried Egg Jellyfish (Samu Kurage), which looks like the sun drifting in the sea, and the Delphinium, which grows straight up seeking sunlight. Both share the keyword "sun" and enchant their surroundings while sticking to their own styles. We have colored them with a design unique to Hibiya Kadan. [Japanese Sea Nettle x Iris] Japanese Sea Nettle x Iris The Japanese Sea Nettle (Aka Kurage), with a bell featuring a red striped pattern, and the Iris, which invites insects using purple petals with unique patterns. We have created a space where these two elements, possessing both attractive individuality and function, resonate. Postcards Additionally, postcards are placed at each tank, featuring explanations of the jellyfish and flowers, as well as messages derived from their commonalities. We deliver content that allows you to touch upon the deep stories of living creatures and flowers, as well as their visual brilliance. *Postcards are available while supplies last. 2.
