New Landmark 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso' Completed at Juso, the Junction of Hankyu's Three Major Lines

Hankyu Hanshin Properties Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the completion of the super-high-rise tower residence 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso,' developed as part of the 'Former Yodogawa Ward Office Site Utilization Project' by the City of Osaka.

This project is a community co-creation initiative aimed at fostering new development and vibrancy in Juso, undertaken collaboratively by government, industry, and academia. It involves the development of a complex facility that includes condominiums, a library, childcare and after-school facilities, commercial spaces, and a school. The facility is divided into two sites, east and west. On the west site, a medical vocational school operated by the LISSEI GAKUEN Educational Foundation opened in April 2024. On the east site, in addition to the 712-unit super-high-rise tower residence 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso,' new living environments such as a library, childcare and after-school facilities, and a supermarket have been created.

On the first floor of the facility on the east site, a supermarket 'Food Style' will open. On the second floor, there will be two libraries: the 'Osaka City Yodogawa Library' and the 'LISSEI GAKUEN Juso Library,' along with the childcare and after-school facility 'STELLA.' With commercial facilities, a library, and childcare/after-school services gathered in one place, we hope it becomes a 'place where people of all generations gather and CROSS,' hence the name 'JUSO CROSS' for these facilities. The super-high-rise tower residence 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso' occupies the 3rd floor up to the 39th floor, the top floor.

In the super-high-rise tower residence 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso,' we have pursued the ideal of urban living. To achieve a healthy and fulfilling life while being in the heart of the city, we have adopted an architectural theme centered on 'Water,' 'Greenery,' 'Light,' and 'Wind,' with a design concept of 'creating a new landscape and interior for Juso' where people and nature resonate. Furthermore, by leveraging Osaka's history as a 'City of Water' and the blessings of the Yodo River, we have realized a three-dimensional biophilic design that incorporates natural elements into the building through the skillful arrangement of layered greenery and water features both inside and outside the structure.

Details of the super-high-rise tower residence 'Geo Tower Osaka Juso' and 'JUSO CROSS,' which are set to become new landmarks in Juso, are as follows:

■ Regarding 'JUSO CROSS' (Floors 1-2) (Introduced in order of opening date/service commencement date)

It will open as a new living base for the Juso community.

◆ (2nd Floor) 'Osaka City Yodogawa Library' / 'LISSEI GAKUEN Juso Library' Scheduled to open April 17 (Friday)

Two libraries, the 'Osaka City Yodogawa Library' and the 'LISSEI GAKUEN Juso Library,' will be established on the second floor. A portion of the 'LISSEI GAKUEN Juso Library' will be open to the public as a 'Machinaka Library' (Community Library), not just for students of the institution. It aims to transcend the traditional library framework and serve as a 'Waigaya Library' (lively discussion library) where people of all generations can gather and deepen their connections for various purposes through 'knowledge' from reading and learning, and 'exchange' through conversation and meetings, making it a new hub for Juso.
