Special Wrapped Train on JR Yamanote Line Launches to Commemorate HERALBONY Art Prize

(hereinafter 'Heralbony') announces the launch of a special wrapped train (one full 11-car set) on the JR Yamanote Line, running from Tuesday, June 16 to Saturday, June 27, exclusively occupying all advertising spaces on the line, to commemorate the exhibition 'HERALBONY Art Prize 2026 Exhibition Presented by Tokyu Properties | Brillia.' Inside the train, various videos will be screened allowing passengers to experience the world of the HERALBONY Art Prize, including a film capturing the creative process of KIYO, the artist who won the 'JR East Japan Award,' selected by East Japan Railway Company (hereinafter 'JR East'), the Gold Partner of the award. ◾️ Details of the Yamanote Line Wrapped Train In conjunction with the exhibition, a wrapped train featuring the 'HERALBONY Art Prize 2026 Exhibition' logo will operate on the JR Yamanote Line (one train set). Additionally, on in-train video media (Train Channel, Window-top Channel, Side Channel), various videos designed to immerse viewers in the HERALBONY Art Prize will be screened throughout the period, featuring the creative process of KIYO, the recipient of the JR East Japan Award. Inside the train, advertisements will prominently feature the artists' names. To highlight the artists as the main protagonists and express the hope that they will achieve greater success, the names of the Grand Prix, Jury Special Award, and JR East Japan Award winners are boldly displayed. The concept is to simply convey the presence of each uniquely talented artist by their name. His materials are crayons and ballpoint pens. Facing his sketchbook with fingers and face smeared with crayon, he meticulously tears apart any unsatisfactory parts mid-creation and immediately moves on to the next piece. He works at such speed that he completes several drawings a day. Inspired by the ever-changing scenery around him, his works powerfully depict forms reminiscent of shapes and living creatures, sometimes layering color even on the back of the paper, unfolding a unique world of color.
