Taisuke Kinugasa (Kyoto Prefecture)

Living is painting. He depicts the scenery he encounters while traveling the world with his family, in a unique worldview filled with light and color. Possessing a sense of color and sensibility described as magical, he instantly selects colors from hundreds of paints to create his works. His artworks are highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally, with large ema (votive tablets) dedicated at the ema halls of Kamigoryo Shrine and Hakuun Shrine within the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
