Bringing the Experience of Feeling Life to People Worldwide

Through the experience of holding the fetal doll COCO-chan, we aim to return to the origin of "everyone has value just by being born" and realize a symbiotic society where everyone can live authentically.

Purpose and Background

In recent years, due to the declining birthrate and nuclearization of families in Japan, opportunities to truly feel "life" and the "process of being born" have decreased. Additionally, more people are facing mental health issues such as parenting isolation, anxiety, and low self-esteem.

General Incorporated Association HEART-LABO. believes that regaining the sense that everyone is a precious being leads to a society where people value themselves and care for others.

Therefore, we are engaged in activities to deliver the experience of feeling life through the wool felt fetal doll "COCO-chan," which reproduces the size and weight of a fetus.

It is our dream to deliver this experience not only to Japan but to people all over the world.

Effects

The fetal doll "COCO-chan" is a felt doll that is the same size and weight as a fetus from 2 to 10 months of pregnancy, created based on medical models. By experiencing holding them in sequence, the following emotional changes occur:

・Realizing that one was also a precious being nurtured in the womb

・Experiencing the miracle of pregnancy and childbirth

・Developing gratitude towards parents and family

・Increasing self-esteem

Additionally, after the experience, participants share their feelings, creating a space that leads to:
