Representative Kōei Yoshida of HDL Appointed as Visiting Researcher at National University Corporation University of Electro-Communications International Society Implementation Center

HDL LLC (Head Office: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative: Kōei Yoshida) announces that Representative Kōei Yoshida will commence activities as a Visiting Researcher at the International Society Implementation Center of the National University Corporation University of Electro-Communications, effective April 1, 2026. The objective is to connect the practical knowledge accumulated through classroom operations, school lesson support, and the planning and operation of the drone programming competition "Dorokatsu National Tournament" with a research perspective, thereby aiming to provide greater benefits to more educational institutions.

HDL LLC is engaged in drone-based programming education, including the development and sale of educational materials and curricula for schools, classroom operations, outreach lessons, and the planning and operation of educational events. Furthermore, through the domestic deployment of the educational programming drone "CoDrone EDU," they have actively supported its utilization in school settings.

This appointment as a visiting researcher is intended to connect these practical field experiences with an academic perspective at the university, developing them into learning that can be more readily applied to educational settings. This activity will be pursued under the guidance of Professor (Special Appointment) Yo Ishigaki, Director of the International Society Implementation Center at the National University Corporation University of Electro-Communications.
