Aiming to Solve Women's Health Issues and Promote Domestic Herbs

"HERBCARE365," developed by the General Incorporated Association Herb Blend Style Association (Representative Director: Tomoko Iida), is active in creating a society where each individual is aware of their own health and can live a healthy life both mentally and physically. In parallel with operating a specialized blending school that handles 70 types of herbs, we are working to solve women's health issues and environmental problems in cooperation with doctors and producers nationwide.

According to a 2023 survey by Teikoku Databank, approximately 60% of Japanese companies advocate health management. However, in many workplaces, the reality remains that "those who care for others tend to neglect their own care." In the daily hustle of work, childcare, and elderly care, there is insufficient time to pay attention to one's own physical condition and mental changes, leading to chronic fatigue and "vague, persistent ailments." We do not overlook these small signs and provide support that is empathetic to the mind and the workplace through daily herbal teas.

## Care for the Five Senses Brought by Herbal Tea
Herbal tea is a drink that works on the mind and body through the power of plants and the five senses: aroma, color, and taste. Being "caffeine-free" and selectable according to purpose, it naturally incorporates self-care tailored to one's condition. Furthermore, the experience of enjoying with the five senses fosters gentle communication and contributes to creating an environment that encourages awareness of discomfort. "HERBCARE365" was born as a mechanism to effortlessly realize these values in daily life, contributing to the improvement of well-being at home and in the workplace from both self-care and communication aspects.

Based on the theme "Continues because it's delicious. Harmonizes because it continues," HERBCARE365 offers herbal teas, operates a school business, provides health support and consulting, plans and sells products, and runs community projects, creating a system that does not overlook "vague ailments."

Towards a society where small discomforts are not left unattended, and people can talk openly with peace of mind. Our important role is to support corporations, government, and individuals in joining hands and leveraging each other's strengths.

## As a Bridge of Care, Connecting "Awareness"
It begins not by enduring discomfort, but by gently accepting it as an important sign sent by the body. We value "reasons to continue" daily, starting with deliciousness and enjoyment, and together, we create a state where everyone can choose to protect themselves without having to bear everything alone.

And the process of carefully verbalizing what is felt and connecting it to one's own choices is the essence of "harmonizing" and the communication we value.

It's not just about care for special occasions, but accumulating small practices in daily life, 365 days a year.
This accumulation fosters awareness, restores connections, and strengthens the ability to meticulously refine one's own senses once again. We wish to be the "bridge" that walks this path together.

## Efforts for the Popularization of Domestic Herbs and Regional Circulation
Several years ago, aiming for the domestic production of 70 types of herbs, Representative Iida visited producers nationwide, personally verifying each material. We are also advancing initiatives to combine agricultural products and specialty goods grown in those regions with herbs to create new applications together.

Beyond herbal teas, its use is expanding into forms rooted in daily life, such as food, beauty, and health, and a system is gradually growing where regional resources circulate for health promotion. Through such collaborations, we continue our activities to popularize domestic herbs and open up new possibilities for regions.

## Message
Last year, in collaboration with doctors and university students, we also held a health awareness event on the theme of "preconception care" (preparation for future pregnancy and health). This created a new health education model that connects self-care to medicine and social issues through herbs. By spreading the culture of "drinking time = self-care time," we aim to realize a society where herbal teas are naturally incorporated into daily life, and each individual can have a habit of nurturing their mind and body.

Furthermore, we will continue to work towards creating a well-being future by further expanding possibilities as health education for the next generation.

Over 25 years of fieldwork, I have witnessed countless realities where "those who care for others neglect their own care." In the daily rush of work, childcare, and elderly care, "time to care for oneself" tends to be put off. As a result, chronic fatigue and changes in condition accumulate unnoticed by anyone. I myself have experienced anemia due to menstruation, asthma after childbirth, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infertility treatment, and have felt the loneliness of "not knowing who to consult." That is why I strongly feel the need for gentle, empathetic care for changes in mind and body that are often difficult to verbalize.
