【Summer Gourmet & Events】Hattendo Village, the experiential food theme park in front of Hiroshima Airport, introduces novel shaved ice menus and children's experience programs

Hattendo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President and CEO: Takamasa Moriguchi) will host the "Hattendo Village Summer Vacation Experience Fair" from July 3, 2026 (Fri) to August 31, 2026 (Mon) at Hattendo Village (located in Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture), its experiential food theme park located in front of Hiroshima Airport.

During this period, visually vibrant original shaved ice desserts, limited-time drinks, and summer-exclusive menus will be available. Visitors can also enjoy special hands-on experiences such as the "Pandeco House" workshop, where families create decorative treats using real bread dough, and the "Become a Hattendo Caffelie Staff Member" program, where children experience taking orders, cooking pancakes, plating, and serving. Additional summer-themed activities include a water play area, an ice pillar melting experience, and a traditional children's festival.

This event offers fun, learning, and refreshment all in one place. We invite families to visit and create lasting summer memories together.

"Dorinkori" is a novel fusion of shaved ice and beverage. Inspired by a fishbowl, this dessert features gummy fish and colorful sugar crystals for decoration. Enjoy it as-is, or pour in lemon squash to transform it into a vibrant blue drink.

Summer Experiences and Events for the Whole Family

• Summer Parent-Child Pandeco Making Experience (Reservation required) (Location: Hattendo Caffelie Workshop)

Dates: August 21 (Fri), 28 (Fri), 14:00– (up to 5 groups per day)

Duration: Approx. 2 hours

Fee: ¥3,600 (tax included) per Pandeco House (up to 4 people) *Includes drink

Pandeco refers to edible artworks made from real bread dough.

Participants will create their own "Pandeco House" using real bread dough, combining bread, cream, and sweets to make a one-of-a-kind creation.

• Become a Hattendo Caffelie Staff Member Experience (Reservation required) (Location: Hattendo Caffelie)

Dates: July 24 (Fri), August 17 (Mon), August 28 (Fri), 10:30–12:00

Target: Elementary school students (up to 4 participants per day)

Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours (may vary slightly)

Participation fee: ¥2,000 (tax included)

Participants will experience being a staff member at Hattendo Caffelie, taking orders, cooking pancakes, plating, and serving.

At the end, participants can enjoy the pancakes they made together with their accompanying guests.

• Water Play Area & Ice Pillar Melting Experience (Location: Outdoor area of Hattendo Village)

Dates: July 4 (Sat) – August 31 (Mon), 10:00–16:00
