Congratulatory Speech by President Reiko Takeichi (Summary)
Congratulations on your joining the company.
Hato Bus was born in 1948 and is celebrating its 78th year this year. It started with the noble ideal of "providing comfortable services of a new era to the people of Japan through tourism and introducing the true image of peaceful Japan to foreign visitors," and we have reached today through the efforts of many predecessors. Currently, as the "Hato Bus Group," we are developing a wide range of businesses centered on the sightseeing bus business, including hotels, real estate, consignment of operations for Tokyo Metropolitan Bus, restaurant cruises, advertising, and commerce. While each business operates independently, they cooperate and collaborate, aiming to be "a company that pursues safety, comfort, and environmental conservation in all its businesses, and provides customer satisfaction and inspiration."
The individuals joining us today, welcomed at the entrance ceremony, come from diverse roles such as office staff, sightseeing bus drivers, tour guides, mechanics, chefs, engineers, and deckhands. However, work cannot be done alone. It is important to actively communicate across departments, job roles, age groups, and positions. Your sincere opinions are valuable and contribute to the company's growth.
Hato Bus's greatest management resource is the "safety and security" brand and the organization and people that support it, and you are now a part of it. It is important to always remember the spirit of hospitality for each customer, dedicate yourselves fully to your work, and above all, for yourselves to be healthy.
To continue being chosen by customers both domestically and internationally, let us further enhance the power of the Hato Bus brand and create new value together.
