Announcement of Completion Ceremony for New Yarn Spinning Factory

Hasetora Spinning Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture) has completed a new factory that achieves both improved environmental performance and productivity, and will hold a completion ceremony on Wednesday, May 13, Reiwa 8 (2026).

This factory is designed with the concept of "Invisible Technology (Yarn Spinning) × Environmental Performance = Visible Value," aiming to realize a sustainable production base that combines energy saving and ease of work.

Main Features ・Architectural design with high heat insulation, airtightness, and sound insulation ・Reduction of CO₂ emissions by reducing thermal energy consumption ・Exterior inspired by Tomioka Silk Mill and improved comfort of the working environment ・Safe design with excellent earthquake resistance

This aims to realize a sustainable production base that combines energy saving and ease of work.

On the day, in addition to the completion ceremony, there will be an explanation of the new factory's design philosophy and environmental initiatives at the head office auditorium, as well as a facility tour.
