The Haseko Group (Representative company: Haseko Corporation, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Satoshi Kumano) and the Tokai Keneikai participated in the 'Spring Fujimae Tidal Flat Clean-up Operation'*, hosted by the Fujimae Tidal Flat Clean-up Operation Executive Committee, on Saturday, May 16. We have been participating in this activity since 2017, and this marks our 16th time participating in total for spring and autumn.
Blessed with good weather on the day, a total of 1,631 participants, including citizens, students, and corporate group employees, conducted a simultaneous clean-up activity at 11 locations around the Fujimae Tidal Flat. From the Haseko Group, a total of 30 people, including employees and their families, and members of the Tokai Keneikai, participated and collected trash such as plastic bottles and vinyl bags. We will continue to promote corporate activities that consider biodiversity with the aim of a sustainable global environment. Concurrently, we will continue to carry out environmental conservation activities in collaboration with the local community while striving to improve the environmental awareness of our employees.
*A large-scale clean-up activity held twice a year, in spring and autumn, since autumn 2004, in cooperation with citizen groups, local residents, educational institutions, businesses, and government, at the 'Fujimae Tidal Flat,' a Ramsar Convention registered wetland located in Minato-ku, Nagoya City and Tobishima Village.
