Tomokun Music Studio (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo https://harappa.blog/) aims to create a society where children with developmental characteristics can gain confidence through music and grow authentically.

We want to be a place where children can accumulate "I did it!" success experiences one by one, not just a drum school that teaches techniques.

On April 1, 2026, we participate in April Dream and declare the future we are serious about realizing.

■Dream

Our dream is to create a society where children with developmental characteristics are seen not as "children who can't do it" but as "children with potential."

And we want to provide that opportunity through the instrument of drums.

• A place where they can express themselves even if they struggle with words
• A place where they can challenge themselves even if they lack confidence
• A place where they are accepted even if they fail

We are serious about increasing such places throughout Japan.

■Tomokun's Story

This dream was inspired by my own son.

My son, who has developmental characteristics, struggled with many things when he was young, and there were days when I worried as a parent.
However, after encountering drums, he gradually gained confidence, and now he has grown into a teacher who teaches drums to children like himself.

Seeing him, I became convinced:

Children can change.
And they can shine if only they have a "place where they can do it."

From now on, we will expand:

• Creating drum classes where children with developmental characteristics can attend with peace of mind
• Communication activities that give hope to parents
• A lesson environment that values "I did it!"

The goal is not just to become good at music.

For children to gain confidence.
For parents to feel at ease.
And for children to have hope for the future.

That is the kind of studio we aim for.
