IBEC Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka), operator of the dating and romance matchmaking app/service 'Happy Mail (Happy)' (https://happymail.co.jp/) with a cumulative membership of 35 million (*1), conducted a survey on 'cute boys' targeting a total of 200 people: 100 adult women and 100 men who identify themselves as 'cute boys'.

This survey compiled responses on:

- Impressions of cute boys

- The appeal of cute boys

- Characteristics as perceived by women

- Types of women that men prefer

Based on the responses from a total of 200 adult women and men who self-identify as cute boys, this release reveals the impressions, characteristics, and romantic tendencies related to cute boys.

1. 47.00% of Women Answered They 'Like' Cute Boys, the Most Common Response (Adult Women: 100)

When 100 adult women were asked, 'Do you like cute boys?', 47 (47.00%) answered 'Like', making it the most common response.

Including the 43 (43.00%) who answered 'Neutral', 90.00% have a positive or neutral impression.

On the other hand, only 10 (10.00%) answered 'Dislike', showing a tendency that cute boys are accepted by many women.

When 100 men who identify as cute boys were asked, 'How do you feel when women tell you you are cute?', 82 (82.00%) accepted it positively, combining 36 (36.00%) who answered 'Happy' and 46 (46.00%) who answered 'Somewhat happy'.

Meanwhile, only 1 (1.00%) answered 'Not happy', showing that 'cute' is taken as a positive evaluation by many men.
