1 in 5 people 'have experienced finding a romantic partner at the gym' | Survey of 200 male and female gym users, most common trigger is 'natural greeting' (Happy Mail Survey)

IBEC Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), which operates the encounter and romance matching app/service 'Happy Mail (Happy)' with a total of 35 million members (*1) (https://happymail.co.jp/), conducted a survey regarding 'encounters at the gym' targeting 200 adult men and women who currently attend or have attended a gym.

In this survey, a multiple-choice questionnaire was conducted and the results were aggregated regarding: - Whether they have experienced finding a romantic partner at the gym - (For those with experience) The type of gym where they met - (For those with experience) How they became close - (For those with experience) Their frequency of use at the time they met

### 1. 20.00% of gym users 'have experienced finding a romantic partner' (200 men and women) When 200 adult men and women who have used a gym were asked, 'Have you ever found a romantic partner at the gym?', 40 people (20.00%) answered 'Yes', and 160 people (80.00%) answered 'No'. The results showed that 1 in 5 people had the experience of entering into a relationship at the gym.
