Kentaro Ito, an actor who debuted in the 2014 drama 'Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon' and has since made a name for himself in hit works such as the 'Kyo kara Ore wa!!' series, the NHK serial TV novel 'Scarlet,' and the film 'Oni no Hanayome,' plays the role of Yuma Kasuga, a justice-minded individual who wishes for a society where sexual minorities can live authentically. Kaniichiro, an actor who debuted in 2017 and won the New Actor Award at the 27th Japan Film Critics Awards for his role in the film 'The Miracles of the Namiya General Store,' which was released the same year. He has appeared in films such as 'Namibia no Sabaku,' 'Bakudan,' 'Last Man -First Love-,' and the NHK serial TV novel 'Babake.' He is also set to appear in the TV Asahi drama 'Crossroad ~The Promise of Emergency Medicine~' airing from 9 PM on July 7th (Tue). He plays the role of Itsuki Hasegawa, Yuma's boyfriend, who has a free-spirited and elusive personality, contrasting with Yuma's.

This is the last work by Naoto Asahara, who sadly and suddenly passed away in 2023. For the author, who publicly identified as gay and consistently poured his heart into his writing, this work can be seen as a projection of his own struggles. Carrying on his legacy, the film is directed by Shogo Kusano, who has directed 'Nigakute Amai' and 'Aimaitai,' and is currently preparing for the release of the Netflix series 'S to X,' and Naoyuki Miura, who founded the theater company 'Lolo' and has written and directed various works. His representative works include 'Fujoshi, Ukkari Gay ni Kokurassu.,' 'Ashita ga Warau Kimi no Soba de,' 'Summer Film ni Notte,' and 'Toritsukare Otoko.'

[Story]

Yuma Kasuga and Itsuki Hasegawa, a same-sex couple, gain public attention on social media when an interview about the partnership oath system for sexual minorities goes viral, described as 'moe.' The two are then approached with a request for a documentary filming their cohabitation for 100 days. Yuma, who wants to spread understanding of homosexuality, accepts the offer. However, at that very moment, Yuma and Itsuki had already broken up. Yuma persuades Itsuki, who was reluctant to participate in the interview, and the two agree to act as a loving couple in front of the cameras. Shiho Chino, the director from the production company, unaware of this, is determined to capture their authentic selves. However, the interview, which seemed to be going smoothly, reveals a conflict: Yuma wants to be the 'ideal couple,' while Itsuki speaks his mind freely and is uncooperative. Shiho's plans do not go as expected. What will the cameras capture: a happy daily life, or a skillfully crafted lie? Through the interviews, they begin to realize something important they had overlooked. The story of 100 days, where the couple's lies and true feelings intertwine, begins──!
