BE-STADIUM KOSHIEN, operated by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukushima-ku, Osaka; President: Yusuke Kusu), will host a baseball clinic on Wednesday, July 29, in cooperation with Nikkan Sports West Japan, offering participants the opportunity to receive expert instruction from former Hanshin Tigers player Shinjiro Kiyoyama.

This is a rare chance to receive direct batting lessons from Kiyoyama, a celebrated figure in the history of the Hanshin Tigers. We encourage all interested participants to join!

Tickets will be available for online purchase starting Wednesday, July 15.

【Overview of the Baseball Clinic with Hanshin Tigers Legend Shinjiro Kiyoyama】

1 Date and Time:

July 29 (Wed)

Session 1: 13:00–14:00

Session 2: 14:30–15:30

Session 3: 16:00–17:00

2 Content:

Participants will receive batting instruction from Shinjiro Kiyoyama at BE-STADIUM KOSHIEN, along with hands-on experiences in toss batting and pitching. As a participation benefit, attendees will also receive admission to the Koshien History Museum (valid until Wednesday, September 30).

※ Kiyoyama will provide direct instruction to two participants per session (9 minutes total for two people).

※ Outside of instruction time and for 20 minutes after each session, participants may experience other areas of BE-STADIUM KOSHIEN (excluding the batting area).

※ Facility use must follow staff instructions.

3 Number of Participants: 12 per session (3 sessions total)

4 Target Age: Elementary and middle school students

5 Fees:

Baseball Clinic Participation Fee: 4,000 JPY (tax included)

※ Admission fees are required for accompanying guests.

【Profile of Shinjiro Kiyoyama】

Born July 1, 1969, in Kyoto Prefecture.

Graduated from Heian High School, then attended Toyo University. Drafted 4th overall by the Hanshin Tigers in 1991.

Served as Players Association President from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, achieved the 58th cycle hit in NPB history, contributing to the team’s league championship. Played as the cleanup hitter in the Japan Series and received the Outstanding Player Award. From 2006 onward, excelled as a pinch hitter, earning the nickname “The God of Pinch Hitting.”

Retired after a pinch-hit two-run homer in the 2013 Climax Series, leaving fans with lasting memories. Currently active as a baseball commentator and sports analyst.
