Koshien Historical Museum to Host Talk Show with Former Hanshin Tigers Manager Akihiro Yano on July 5

The Koshien Historical Museum, operated by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukushima-ku, Osaka; President: Yusuke Kusu), in cooperation with Sports Nippon, will host a talk show prior to the Hanshin Tigers vs. Hiroshima Toyo Carp game on Sunday, July 5.

This talk show is a special project by Sports Nippon and the Koshien Historical Museum. The guest will be Mr. Akihiro Yano, a sports critic for the newspaper who contributed to the Hanshin Tigers' championships in 2003 and 2005 and served as manager from 2019 to 2022. He will talk extensively about the Hanshin Tigers' performance this year as they aim for consecutive championships and their future prospects. Tickets will go on sale online starting Saturday, June 13.

Adults 4,000 yen, High School Students 3,500 yen, Children (4 years old to Junior High School) 3,000 yen (all prices include tax)

* Please refrain from reselling autographed boards and baseballs.
(4) Koshien Historical Museum admission (valid for one entry on the day, free viewing)
* Entry is possible either before or after the event. Please present your talk show ticket at the Koshien Historical Museum reception (Koshien Plus 2F).
* Re-entry to the Koshien Historical Museum is not permitted once you exit.
* The Koshien Historical Museum's operating hours on the day are 10:00 - 18:00 (last entry 17:30).

[Profile of Mr. Akihiro Yano]
Joined the Chunichi Dragons as the 2nd draft pick in 1990. Later transferred to the Hanshin Tigers and contributed to the league championships in 2003 and 2005 as the main catcher. After retiring, he served as a coach and farm team manager for the Hanshin Tigers before serving as the first-team manager from 2019 to 2022.
