At the Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, operated by Rokkosan Tourism Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nada-ku, Kobe; President: Akitaka Senoo), a cluster of about 1,000 'Nikko Kisuge' (daylilies), which bring summer to the highlands, is in full bloom. The subalpine cluster near the west entrance is expected to be viewable until late June. Additionally, in the central wetland area, a cluster of 2,000 highland-type flowers is expected to start blooming from late June. Nikko Kisuge is a perennial plant that grows in moist subalpine grasslands in Hokkaido and Honshu. As there are no natural habitats west of the Kansai region, seeing them in clusters is a rare experience.
