"Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2026 beyond" Announces 15 New Participating Artists for Third Round – Main Visual for 2026 Released!

Rokko San Tourism Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nada-ku, Kobe City; President: Akio Senoo) will host the contemporary art festival "Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2026 beyond" on Kobe's Mount Rokko from Saturday, August 29, 2026, to Sunday, November 29, 2026.

We are pleased to announce that 15 new invited artists have been selected. With the 20 artists announced previously, a total of 35 artists have now been confirmed to participate. This year, including invited artists to be announced on Monday, June 1, and public-call artists, approximately 60 artists are expected to participate.

Additionally, the main visual for 2026 is being released today. This year's visual features the compelling works of Yoshitomo Nara's "Peace Head," which became a permanent exhibit last year, and Yayoi Kusama's "Pumpkin," which has been decided as a special deposited work. It also includes graphics that evoke the joy of strolling through the nature of Mount Rokko and encountering diverse artworks.
