Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukushima-ku, Osaka; President: Yusuke Kusu) will have its transportation staff (including train crew and station staff) wear badges featuring the grand prize-winning design from the 2025 'My Hanshin Electric Railway' painting contest below their name tags, starting Wednesday, April 1.

The 'My Hanshin Electric Railway' painting contest was launched to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary, with the goal of providing children with opportunities to engage with art and encouraging them to feel more familiar with Hanshin Electric Railway through the act of drawing. Last year, marking the 21st iteration of the contest, we received 4,105 entries—the second-highest number in the contest's history—bringing the cumulative total to approximately 45,000 drawings of Hanshin trains filled with children's dreams.

Our company has been promoting a 120th-anniversary project since 2024. As a conclusion to this project, we have decided to wear these badges to express the commitment of our train crew and station staff—the employees most familiar to children—to meet their expectations as we look toward the future.

Together with every customer who has supported us thus far, we will continue to stand by our local communities and remain dedicated to the things our customers hold dear.

This initiative is scheduled to be held annually following the conclusion of the painting contest in future years.

1. Wearing Period (Scheduled) April 1, 2026 (Wed) – November 30, 2026 (Mon) *The wearing period is subject to change without notice. *From fiscal year 2026 onwards, the badges are scheduled to be worn from January 1 to November 30 of each year.

2. Eligible Personnel Transportation staff (train crew, station staff, etc.)

Under the brand slogan '“Taisetsu” ga gyutto.' (Cherishing what matters most), the Hanshin Group will continue to face the 'important things' of each individual customer. By working as a group to provide a uniquely Hanshin brand experience, we will continue to live up to the trust and expectations placed in us.
