The Koshien History Museum, operated by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukushima-ku, Osaka; President: Yusuke Kusu), in cooperation with Sports Hochi, will host a talk show featuring Hanshin Tigers alumnus and Sports Hochi commentator Masayuki Kakefu on Friday, April 17, prior to the Hanshin Tigers vs. Chunichi Dragons game.
This talk show is a special project between Sports Hochi and the Koshien History Museum. Guest Masayuki Kakefu will speak extensively about the Hanshin Tigers' performance in the 2025 season and provide his outlook for the current season. Tickets will go on sale online starting Tuesday, March 31.
The outline of the talk show is as follows:

Participation Fee: Adults: 4,000 yen, High school students: 3,500 yen, Children (4 years old to junior high school): 3,000 yen (All prices include tax) *Includes admission to the Koshien History Museum (valid for one entry on the day of the event). [Profile of Masayuki Kakefu] Born May 9, 1955, in Chiba Prefecture. Joined the Hanshin Tigers as a 6th-round draft pick in 1973 out of Narashino High School. Established himself in the first team in his first year out of high school and became the regular third baseman the following year. As the Tigers' main slugger, he achieved three home run titles, one RBI title, seven Best Nine awards, six Diamond Glove awards, and three All-Star Game MVP awards. He also contributed to the team's first-ever Japan Series championship in 1985. He is affectionately known to fans as "Mr. Tigers."
After retiring as an active player in 1988, he worked as a baseball commentator on television and other media. In 2014, he was appointed as the Hanshin Tigers' GM-attached Development & Batting Coordinator. In 2016, he became the farm team manager. Wearing his active-duty number 31, he dedicated himself to developing young players and coaching veterans, completing his two-year contract at the end of the 2017 season. Subsequently, he served as a Senior Executive Advisor (SEA) to the owner, completing that two-year contract in October 2019. Currently, he appears in various media as a baseball commentator and was appointed Chairman of the Hanshin Tigers OB Association in November 2024. In 2025, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame via the Expert Category.
