ROKKO Morinone Museum Offers Early Morning SIKI Garden Access & Automated Violin Tuning Viewing for a Limited Time During Golden Week

ROKKO Morinone Museum, operated by Mt. Rokko Cable Car & Tourism Co. (Nada-ku, Kobe; President: Akitaka Seno), will open at 9:00 AM, one hour earlier than usual, during the Golden Week period from May 3 (Sun) to May 5 (Tue/Holiday), 2026. In addition to strolling through the 'SIKI Garden ~Sound Promenade~' (hereafter referred to as SIKI Garden) during the fresh green morning hours, visitors can observe concert preparation activities normally closed to the public, such as the tuning of the automated violin. ## Overview of 'Morning SIKI Garden & Instrument Preparation Viewing' [Dates] May 3 (Sun) to May 5 (Tue/Holiday), 2026 [Operating Hours] 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM) * Outside the above period, hours are 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM). * The adjacent Museum Shop 'Time' (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and Mori no Cafe (*1) (11:00 AM - 4:30 PM) will operate at their regular hours. ### Automated Violin Tuning Between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM, the concert preparation process, including the tuning of the automated violin, will be open to the public. Visitors can enjoy a different view of the automated instruments than during regular operating hours. ### Renewal Opening of SIKI Dome 'Mori no Library' The transparent 'SIKI Dome', which was used for private dining plans until March 11 (Wed), 2026, will be reopened as the 'Mori no Library'. Visitors can spend a relaxing time reading books carefully selected by the staff inside the dome or in the surrounding lounge areas. * Available with admission fee only. * Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Mornings and evenings are when wild birds are most active. Guests can spend a special walking time feeling the breath of living creatures and plants. Under the concept of a natural garden harmonizing with the nature of Mt. Rokko, the 'SIKI Garden' within our facility features plantings of approximately 300 types of seasonal trees and flowers. Since the temperature on Mt. Rokko is about 5°C lower than in the city, the blooming season in spring is delayed by about a month. You can spend a relaxing time listening to the songs of birds like bush warblers from the benches and hammocks placed in the garden. You can enjoy lunch or tea time while gazing at the Oshima cherry blossoms and weeping forsythias around the 'Hitsujigusa Pond'. ### Extended Assembly Experience Times During the Golden Week period, the number of sessions for the music box assembly and instrument making experiences will be increased.
