"Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2026 beyond" Announces 14 Additional Artists for Second Wave ~ Early Bird Passports Go on Sale April 1st ~

Rokko Mountains Tourism Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nada-ku, Kobe; President: Akimitsu Seno) will hold the contemporary art festival "Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2026 beyond" on Mt. Rokko in Kobe from Saturday, August 29, 2026, to Sunday, November 29, 2026. We are pleased to announce that 14 additional invited artists have been selected, bringing the total to 20 invited artists. Including artists from public recruitment, approximately 60 artists are expected to participate this year. Furthermore, various viewing passports will be available at a special early bird price, which is more advantageous than the regular price, from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Yayoi Kusama's "Pumpkin" will also be on special display at the SIKI Garden ~Sound Promenade~ within ROKKO Mori no Oto Museum, the festival's hub, starting March 14, 2026. The second wave of invited artists includes: Daikan Ito, Yukihisa Ito, Ryo Inoue, Seiya Kaji, Kazuyoshi Komaki, Keiichi Sato, Kenichi Shibo, Yasuto Suzuki, Koji Tanada, Rei Naka, Nobuko Nakano, Misa Funai, Hiroshi Miyazak, and Miki Wanibuchi. The early bird passports include: (1) Day & Night Pass (admission to paid venues + "Forest of Light ~ Night Art Walk ~"), (2) Day Pass (admission to paid venues), and (3) Night Pass (admission to "Forest of Light ~ Night Art Walk ~").
