Hansard International Limited (hereinafter 'Hansard'), registered as a Financial Instruments Business Operator (Investment Management Business) in Japan, has entered into a business partnership with GUARDIAN JAPAN Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Guardian Japan'), a Type II Financial Instruments Business Operator, to commence full-scale business operations in Japan. Hansard is an insurance company based in the Isle of Man, a British Crown Dependency, and is a group company of Hansard Global Plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Hansard has been operating in global markets for many years. In the Japanese market, it has established a branch office, registered as an investment management operator, and built a structure that complies with relevant laws and regulations. Hansard will develop and supply Capital Redemption products as collective investment schemes (schemes based on foreign silent partnership contracts) that fall under Article 2, Paragraph 2, Item 6 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of Japan. This is the first initiative in Japan to file these Isle of Man financial products as securities for public offering. Guardian Japan was established in Japan as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guardian Guernsey Limited, headquartered in the British Crown Dependency of Guernsey. Leveraging its expertise in global financial product sales, it provides detailed solutions to Japanese customers as a financial professional. Since this partnership, both companies have held discussions to jointly develop and launch accumulation-type investment products for Japan. Hansard and Guardian Japan will continue to cooperate to promote the provision of new solutions for Japanese investors.
