Hankyu Travel International and Sanda City Sign Agreement on Disaster Support Activities, June 30, 2026

Hankyu Travel International Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Kita-ku, Umeda, President and CEO Yutaka Yamakawa) signed an agreement with Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture (Mayor Katsuya Tamura) on June 30, 2026, concerning disaster support activities. This agreement stipulates matters for which the city will request cooperation from Hankyu Travel International in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons, large-scale fires, or accidents within the city.

Hankyu Travel International will conduct support activities through DHAT* (Disaster Hankyu Assistance Team).

Sanda City, located in the southeastern part of Hyogo Prefecture, is a historic town that prospered as a castle town during the Edo period, blessed with abundant nature. It is also known as a bedroom community where planned urban development blends with nature, and its basic goal for disaster prevention measures is to create a town that provides a sense of peace. In recent years, as the risks of natural disasters, including the Nankai Trough earthquake, have increased, an agreement on "Disaster Support Activities" has been concluded with Sanda City, which aims to build a disaster-resilient town.

[Specific Support Details Included in the Agreement]

(1) Opening and setting up evacuation facilities and welfare shelters (hereinafter referred to as "evacuation facilities, etc.")

(2) Arrangement of operating staff, nurses, caregivers, etc., for evacuation facilities, etc.

(3) Arrangement of vehicles for transportation, accommodation facilities, etc.

(4) Management of activities such as reception for volunteer participants

(5) Call for participation in disaster relief volunteer activities among employees belonging to the Hankyu Travel International Group

(6) Ordering and inventory management of necessary goods

(7) Call center operations

(8) Data management operations

(9) Management and response operations for residents of evacuation facilities, etc.

(10) Various settlement operations

(11) Other matters deemed necessary through consultation between both parties

Through this agreement, Hankyu Travel International will cooperate with Sanda City's "disaster-resilient town development" and strive to contribute to the safety and security of local residents and the sustainable development of the city.
