Hankyu Travel Co., Ltd. (Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka; President and CEO Toyoharu Yamakawa) will conduct a time-limited sale for "Railway Journeys by JR" from July 1 (Wed) to July 10 (Fri), lasting 10 days. Reservations will be available exclusively online starting at 0:00 AM on July 1 (Wed). This time sale offers domestic individual travel packages using JR lines, with departure and arrival points across Japan, including Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Kanazawa, in addition to Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
Amid ongoing price increases that have dampened household spending sentiment, Hankyu Travel, with cooperation from various JR companies, is launching this time sale to support summer travel. While consumer spending shows signs of weakness, traveler numbers during Golden Week exceeded the previous year, indicating steady travel demand among workers during holiday periods. In particular, railway travel offers high reliability by avoiding road congestion, allowing efficient and timely enjoyment of vacations even during the busy summer season.
For this time sale, we have prepared popular products centered on sought-after highland resorts and hot spring destinations, including the iconic summer destination of the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. In addition to convenient short-distance trips, we also offer journeys ideal for leisurely long-distance travel, such as to Hakodate and Kanazawa using the Hokkaido Shinkansen and Hokuriku Shinkansen. The lineup captures the unique pleasures available only through rail travel.
Hankyu Travel continues to develop individual travel products that go beyond simple combinations of accommodation and transportation, leveraging our expertise in sightseeing tours by including meal vouchers, admission tickets, and bus tours to enhance travelers' experiences. We have expanded offerings such as "plans with local meal vouchers" for Hakodate and Kanazawa, and "plans with gondola lift tickets" for highland resorts. For the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, which requires multiple transfers, we offer a "hands-free sightseeing with porter service" option. Additionally, the time sale features golf tours that conveniently bundle round-trip transportation, accommodation, and golf play, as well as packages featuring all-inclusive hotels for relaxed, extended stays—covering a wide range of popular and distinctive summer vacation products.
Hankyu Travel will continue striving to develop travel products that respond to evolving social and lifestyle changes.
