Hankyu Bus x Curious George Collaboration Project "Let's Go! Cheerful George Train" to Feature Wrapped Buses and Decorated Bus Stops!

● Two types of buses with different exterior and interior designs will be gradually introduced in the Ibaraki and Amagasaki/Itami areas starting July 31, 2026.

● Collaboration decorations at some bus stops, which were well-received last year, will be held again this year.

● Original photo cards featuring George and friends will be included with the digital one-day pass!

Hankyu Bus Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Kazushi Sanda) will launch two types of wrapped buses with different exterior and interior designs in the Ibaraki and Amagasaki/Itami areas along the Hankyu Railway lines, in conjunction with Hankyu Railway's "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" collaboration project "Let's Go! Cheerful George Train." These buses will be gradually introduced starting July 31 (Fri).

The buses will be fully wrapped in colors inspired by Hankyu Railway, decorated with illustrations of George and friends from the "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" collaboration project, allowing passengers to enjoy the world of "Curious George" inside the bus.

In addition, collaboration-limited decorations will be applied to some bus stops this year, following their successful implementation last year, and a "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" digital one-day pass will be released.

Bus Stop Collaboration Decorations

The circular plates at some bus stops in the Ibaraki and Amagasaki/Itami areas will be decorated with "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" collaboration illustrations.

Release of "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" Digital One-Day Pass

Two types of passes will be sold: the "Curious George x Hankyu Railway" Digital One-Day Pass [Hankyu Version] and the [Nose Version], offering unlimited rides on all Hankyu Railway lines (excluding Kobe Rapid Transit Line) and Hankyu Bus (excluding some routes) for one day of your choice within the validity period. Purchasers of the pass will receive an original photo card (one of three random designs) at Hankyu Railway information counters, etc.

About "Curious George"

The picture book "Curious George," published by Margret and H.A. Rey in 1941, will celebrate its milestone 85th anniversary in 2026. George, the "little monkey" full of curiosity who causes lovable mischief and adventures, has become a representative character of the picture book series. The anime version of George, now in its 19th year of broadcast on NHK Eテレ, is also loved by many across generations. Since its 80th anniversary in 2021, new experiential facilities such as the first dining cafe and playground have opened, and the lineup of merchandise has expanded year by year, making it a highly popular character for all ages and genders.
