(Headquarters: Toyonaka City, Osaka; President: Kazushi Mita) announced today that it has submitted a notification of a fare change to the Kinki District Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism regarding the "Hankyu Grand Pass 70" (hereinafter "Grand Pass 70"), a special commuter pass for seniors aged 70 and over. The fare revision will take effect on Tuesday, September 1, as detailed below.

1. Reason for Revision

In recent years, the business environment surrounding the local bus industry has remained severe due to rising costs for fuel and various commodities, as well as increasing expenses required for securing personnel and improving working conditions. Even under these circumstances, in order to continue providing safe and stable transportation services as a public transit operator into the future, we have decided to review the fare of the Grand Pass 70 to ensure stable operation of the system.

We apologize for the increased burden this will place on our customers, but we will continue striving to provide accessible public transportation services for everyone, and we appreciate your understanding.

▼ For passes used from September 1, 2026, presentation of a face photo to the driver will no longer be required.

- The submission and presentation of a face photo will become unnecessary. - Additionally, the distribution of the dedicated pass case will be discontinued.
