Hankyu Hanshin Holdings is promoting the 'Hankyu Hanshin Future Yume-Machi (Dream/Town) Project' aiming to realize a 'city where people want to live into the future' in the regions where each of us is involved, mainly along the Hankyu and Hanshin railway lines. We have announced that the 'Yume-Machi Action Train,' a new wrapped train, will start operating on April 18. Now, we are pleased to announce a call for headmark designs for this train and the hosting of an art workshop to color the side wall of the train washing machine installed at the Hirai Depot.
The call for the 'Yume-Machi Action Train' headmark is based on the theme 'Actions leading to a city where people want to live into the future.' The purpose is to provide an opportunity to think about a 'city where people want to live into the future' by drawing a headmark design. The application period is from Friday, May 1 to Friday, July 10. Up to 8 selected works will be displayed and operated on the 'Yume-Machi Action Train' for about 3 months from October to December.
The washing machine mural art workshop 'Yume-Machi Action Squad: Let's Decorate the Train Washing Machine Wall!' is an event where each participant likens themselves to a 'flower' and draws flowers of their favorite colors and shapes under the theme 'A city where people want to live into the future: The colors of the town, the flowers of dreams.' By having multiple generations work together to create a large artwork of approximately 5 meters wide by 4 meters high, it expresses the landscape of a 'city where people want to live into the future' where diverse values overlap. The completed artwork will be displayed later on the side wall of the dedicated train washing machine located on the premises of the Hirai Depot. This artwork can be seen from trains traveling on the Takarazuka Main Line (between Hibarigaoka-Hanayashiki Station and Yamamoto Station).
Through the holding of these events, we hope to create an opportunity for people of diverse generations to 'work together' on a 'city where people want to live into the future.'
The overview of the events is as follows.
