On Sunday, June 14, Hankyu Umeda Main Store will host the "Making Palette! Kids Fashion Show" at the 9th floor Shukusai Hiroba. This event serves as the culmination of the "Making Palette! Designing Clothes" project, which symbolizes the 2026 seasonal theme of the baby and children's clothing floor, "Peaceful Palette." The fashion show will feature original, one-of-a-kind wear designed by children and created with the cooperation of fashion students.

### Three Key Features of the Project

- ① An experience to nurture children's sensibilities: Children select a pattern they want to wear and freely draw their designs with colored pencils, learning the joy of craftsmanship.
- ② Collaboration with professional students: Students from the "Votrail Fashion Academy" provide advice, supporting children in fabric selection and pattern making, turning their "inspiration" into actual clothing.
- ③ Sustainable material usage: With the cooperation of six apparel companies, the project effectively utilizes waste materials such as unused sample rolls and remnants.

### Background of the Planning

Hankyu Umeda Main Store launched this initiative as a sustainable effort to nurture children's sensibilities and support their future. After three production days, including the first session (design creation) on March 21 (Sat) and the second session (fabric selection/pattern making) on April 25 (Sat), children and students worked together to create the clothing. Additionally, many partner companies supported the purpose of this project, which includes the effective use of waste materials, sustainable perspectives, and supporting the future of children, resulting in a special capsule collection.
