The Hankyu Umeda Main Store 9th Floor, Hankyu Umeda Gallery will hold "GAKU, Paint! My words are here." from April 22 (Wed) to May 4 (Mon/Holiday). Known for his original, colorful, and pop style, GAKU is a contemporary young artist who has collaborated with global brands like "GODIVA" and "THE BODY SHOP" and is active both domestically and internationally, including holding a solo exhibition in NY. This is his first major original art exhibition in Japan. Diagnosed with severe autism at age 3, GAKU suddenly began painting at 16 after being inspired by Taro Okamoto's works. For him, painting is his words. Through about 100 of his original paintings that resonate with purity and purify the heart, visitors can experience heart-to-heart communication with him during these 13 days. *All items are limited to stock on hand.

Around 100 original, creative paintings, ranging from pop and adorable animals to impactful abstract works, will be on display.
